We would like to invite you to apply for the MSCA Individual Fellowship at CEITEC.

This is in response to the recent announcement of the MSCA Widening Fellowship call, wherein applicants for the 2018 call for Marie Sklodowska-Curie actions to Individual Fellowship (MSCA-IF) in an eligible widening country will be automatically resubmitted to this new call in case their proposal fails to reach an adequate place in the ranking to be funded in the regular MSCA-IF.

The 2017 success rate of MSCA-IF was only 15%, and we realistically expect that the above call will significantly increase your chances of gaining a fully funded postdoctoral position at CEITEC.

CEITEC (www.ceitec.eu) is a premium research and innovation R&D centre with investment in life sciences, materials and nanotechnology from EU structural funds (over 250mil EUR invested in this new research centre in the last seven years). In its short existence, it has already attracted five ERC holders and acts as either a coordinator or partner in various premium EU and national research grants. It boasts the latest equipment and new laboratories including 2000sq. m of clean room facilities.

We would like to welcome you to become a scientific member of our growing and international team in the technologically blooming city of Brno in the South Moravia region of the Czech Republic.

The application process is dependent on formal acceptance of the Research Group Leader to accept you in his/her group. Please get in touch directly with her/him in the first place.

After you have an agreement with the Research Group Leader, contact the grant office where we will help you to write and submit your proposal.

If you have any further questions,  please contact Mgr. Michal Spáčil (michal.spacil@ceitec.vutbr.cz) for materials and nanotechnology or Mgr. Ladislav Čoček (ladislav.cocek@ceitec.muni.cz ) for life sciences.
